Becoming a model in Amsterdam starts at ROW ONE with four photos and your measurements. The application takes five minutes, application and admission are free, and we answer every application. Castings take place by video call, in our rooms in Frankfurt or at the production site; jobs come up in Amsterdam, in the region and across Europe.

ROW ONE is the model agency of THE GOOD STAFF, based in Frankfurt. We book models for productions across Europe, including Amsterdam and the region, and we are open to applicants who have never modelled before.

01Do I need experience to apply from Amsterdam?
No. Most of our models started without experience. What matters is natural photos, honest measurements and time for castings and jobs.
02Does the application cost anything?
Nothing. We never charge for comp cards, photos or courses; if someone does, it is not us.
03How tall do I need to be?
For fashion, women from about 172 cm and men from about 184 cm. Commercial and classic have no fixed limits; the face and the presence matter more.
04Are there jobs in Amsterdam?
Yes. Clients in Amsterdam and in Zaanstad, Hoofddorp and Haarlem book through us; campaigns and shows also take you to Rotterdam.
05Can I apply at 30, 40 or 50?
Absolutely. Clients book faces of all ages, and the classic category is one of our busiest.
06Which photos should I send?
Four natural photos: face front, face profile, full body front, full body side. Daylight, plain clothes, no make-up, no filters.
07Do I have to be exclusive with ROW ONE?
No. Exclusivity is an option we discuss once you have worked with us; it is never a condition for admission.
08What does a model earn?
Fees are agreed per job and paid after the production. We negotiate the rate, you see the figures before you accept.
